abandoned by time

Yet again the month has flown by and we are well into march. I was hoping to have my second sketch book done by now, and i have no idea where the time has gone.

I am extremely pleased to have finally done this piece. It took around 6 hours in total, over 2 sessions, and i oved every second of it!!!!

...really hope i get to do a lot more heavy metal related work :) next one i'd love to do is the motorhead logo.

Also had a lot of fun starting this pin up. its going to be part of a sleeve in collaboration with Marcos at the shop. So im aiming to do it a little more traditional than normal, and can't wait to do more....

Mike (from Broad st)'s sleeve is coming a long really well. hardwork replicating another artist work, especailly when the artwork is totally amazing but also heaps of fun. still a long way to go. check out http://www.facebook.com/bizarregallery?sk=wall to see more of his work.

Its a shame the photos haven't come out so great of this next piece, im pretty rubbish with the camera. its a moby dick inspired half sleeve. quite different to anything i have done before. its hard not putting in any stronge, bright colours but i am totally loving the dark eery'ness we getting with it. this is about 8 hours in.....

I didnt realise it had been so long since my last post. Been mad crazy at the shop. U guys have really been challenging me with all kinds of crazy new pieces.

The studio got a good response at the Brighton Convention. As usual i was super nervous but once i started working i didnt have time to think.

I did these two pieces, carried on with a piece and started this new one, which i cant wait to carry on with....

....also got to tattoo this pretty lady :)

I finally finished this painting, which was accepted into the gallery there. i was super stoked about it, but too busy to check it out.

Me and my boy just got back from the Milan Tattoo Convention. It was a blast! got my leg finished by tim kern and some lettering in the crease of my elbow by Maneko.....

....it was incredibly busy at the convention so we ended up drinking too much tuborg and weird rum, and watching way too much ' big bang theory' :) :) :)

Really like the way Uncle A finished his posts with a music video each time, so iv stolen his idea!! Enjoy.......

psychopathy red

So christmas is over and its back to work. I had an awesum time off with my boy over the festive season. We spent most of it with family and friends.It was really good to unwind and relax with everyone. Hers some pictures of what i got up to.....

And although it was a lot of fun having time off, it has been really good getting back to work. Its been a busy week and im doing a full on detox too. I got to start a lot of new pieces this week, including a Moby Dick half sleeve and an Invader Zim hand piece.

I also got to finish this 3/4 sleeve which i started back in april time. Its been a lot of hard work, bit A LOT of fun too. Super happy to get it finished, but a little sad too because it was so much fun. Although i think Cat wants to extend the piece up on to the back of her shoulder too, so i cant wait for that!!

...i love all the little sections within it. Really time consuming but totally worth it.

I also got to do these this week. Bec did so well to do both in one session.

Working on the sketch book is going really well. super stoked with the designs i have done so far. Hopfully it wont be too long until i have everything ready.
One of my best friends is getting married this year and asked me to design something to go on their wedding invitation. I came up with this and can't wait to see what they do with it....

It's Brighton Tattoo Convention at the end of the month, and me and the boys will be working it. Im super super excited about it, although a little nervous about the other artist i am going to be working along side. Come check it out if you are going to be around. Its a really awesum convention with a great atmosphere, definatly one of the best in the country.

I am also off to the Milan Tattoo Convention in february, ut not working this one. Im getting tattooed by Tim Kern and hopfully Turk, from left hand black tattoo. Both amazing artist and im so excited.

Ghost of Christmas War

There are just a few working days left before Xmas, so here is a little update of what iv been doing this week...

...this was a lot of fun. a last minute walk in, in space of a last minute cancellation.hope i get to do more.....

Here are a few sketches iv done recently too. Going to mish over the winter holidays and get a load of designs done for the new sketch book.

 I'm really looking forward to doing some tattoo work on my feet. iv started a cover up on my foot, and am going to try and get it finishe, so il keep you posted with pictures. And also sneak previews of some drawing for the new sketch book.

South of heaven II

Been a little while since my last blog. Been as busy as ever, starting new pieces and continuing with others. I have finshed these pieces in the last few weeks.......

I have also done a few pieces in one session too recently which is always nice. Had a lot of fun with this pin up. normally hate doing little faces, but i used a tight 3 liner to shade her and it it worked a whole lot better. shame u cant really see the detail in the photo......

.......want to do more lettering pieces too. i always have such a blast with them.......

......customers have been coming to me for really rad things at the mo. works been tuff but loads of fun and its good looking back at new photos and remembering thiings i have learnt......

....i still have a session to go on this piece, but am really happy with how its going and im not sure wen il get to finish it......

This little guy is a new edition in mine and Jo's life. he's so awesum.entertaining but very time consuming :)

So its nearly xmas and im glad to be taking a couple weeks out, to concentrate on doing artwork. Got loads of ideas for the new sketch book, so its going to be good to get my teeth stuck in.



Saw Municiple Waste play last nite. they wer sick!!!! hatebreed last week too last week, and the big four and judas priest are confirmed to play england next yr. FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
