Rigorous Vengeance

I have been trying to do more regular updates but never quite seem to find the time. This month has been as busy as ever but not just at work.
But as always i'll started with my newest work that iv had most fun with....

I did this on James's leg this week, and i loved it. i love doing pin ups, and i haven't had the chance to do many in full colour but i'd really love to. Definitely one of the most fun tattoos i have done, and was super nice to do it in one session.

This was also a lot of fun. Ive been posting work in progress updates on it and i finally got to finish it a couple of weeks ago. We have now decided to do a similar style piece on her other thigh so keep checking for that!! the design was based on the artwork of John Dyer Baizley, and includes a section of one of his pieces. It's the green arm holding another hand surrounded by leaves and works so well with the pin up. You should definitely check out his work if you aren't aware of it.

It was really nice to get the main section of this piece finished. I started it over a year ago, and considering Bec doesn't really like getting tattooed, she did so well. We are going to be doing lots more in the background and completely filling the space. Her amazing porcelain skin show the colours so well.

And this piece, i last worked on over 2 years ago when i was still working at modern body art. i'm so happy i got to finish the lillys for her.

The studio had a booth at the Tattoo Jam this year....

I got to do a super kool piece on saturday.

Fil was doing some sick tattoos on palms too. His dot work style is super different from most things you see. check out the broad street studio website to see more.....

I also did these pieces...

It was a really fun weekend and fun to hang out with the boys. It is however, going to be the last one i'm working for a while. You will still spot me at conventions but i'll be there to get tattooed and hang out.

Here some more work in progress pieces, and can't wait to work on all of them again....

I have finally got some prints made of this....

There are 6 limited prints made of this. It is a massive print measuring 21.5 inches by 29.5 inches, and are £30 each. unfortunately this photo hasn't come out too well, and they are actually printed on white paper not cream.
If you would lik one please message me on facebook or call into the shop as i have sold a couple already and only just posted it online!!

I did this the other day which was fun :)

Iv got new paintings and skate decks but you'll have to wait til next time for those as i don't have photos of them yet. But i do have a new photo of an older skull painting i did on a skate deck. Its be lackard since and is super shinny and smooth, totally love it. So hopefully will get my 2 new decks done too.

This board is also up for sale at £150

So on top of working, painting and conventions, i've seen some amazing bands!! I took my dad to see Judas Priest, and me and jo went to Bloodstock and saw Exodus, Kreator, Motorhead, Morbid Angel, Immortal and loads other bands. Its been amazing!!!!!

And i'll leave you guys this time with a song from Exodus. They were fucking amazing and my new favourite band of 2011. enjoy x

killed by death

Time for another update....

.......i finished this piece a couple months ago but finally got some healed pictures of it.

Had lots of fun with this script piece on Tash too. She was a star and sat so f'ing well :)

Coral's flower half sleeve was great fun to work on too and i hope i get to tattoo her again. The big ass rose on the back of her arm is my favourite part of this piece.....

I need to wait and get a healed photo of this piece i did on Em yesterday, but it was so much fun i wanted to post it online. Loads and Loads of fun!!!!!

I have done a lot of anatomical style hearts but doing this one in shades of brown was one of the most fun and i definatly want to do things in this way. Was a tough spot getting tattooed on the ribs but she sat really well with no complaints..... the hummingbird was also on ribs and again done with no complaints. These girls were tough!!!!

Here are a few pieces in progress....

So i had a week off too!! And it was lovely to visit friends and family, and relax. Sonisphere was the best time and Motorhead were my highlight of the weekend. It took me a while to get over the partying but it was worth every bit. Can't wait for BloodStock now.

I have had my back piece started by Matt Difa and is looking sick already. 11 hours done and shit load more to go. I'll post some pics when there is a little more done.

I also did the Race for Life last weekend. Unfortunatly my friend Ami was really ill. She shouldn't have been taking part really, so i helped her walk around. Thanks to everyone that sponserd me, your money is going to a really great cause, and i really appreciate you supporting me.

Here are some pics from the week.....

And finally, my favourite and the best thing i own.....

Thank u Roy. I Love it!!!

The Crack of Doom

Time for a new post!!

I don't know where my days are going at the moment, i swear they are getting shorter ;)

....here are a few updates on pieces i have been working on in the past few weeks....

This is a collaboration piece i have been working on with Marcos (attwood). He has steamed through his half of the face in about 3 sessions!! So it just down to me to finish mine. We will then be filling in the background and carrying it on around Jims ribs and stomach. exciting :)

There is also a lot of work to go on this sleeve but so far has been so much fun. Its a sleeve made up of the most random pieces, including a lady face, inline skate and a tiny white rabbit!! The panda is my favourite tattoo i have done so far. I haven't really tattooed many animals before and i would definitely like to do more.....

This Junko Mizuno mermaid is a finished section of a full sleeve of all of his work.Super fun!!

I tried something a little different than i would normally do with these 2 flowers and really pleased with how they came out. I love tattooing flowers, you can always experiment and make them look  completely different. perfect subject matter for a tattoo.

I havent been doing as much art work as i would like recently, but here are a few things i have been playing around with.

This was playing around with pelican ink and a brush. Was fun and got a bigger, more detailed piece on the go...

....can't believe i had never drawn a tiger, so here's what i did.....

.....i actually did this a while ago, but still makes me giggle....AssSphincter says wat??

....and this is a comission piece iv finished.

Jo finished his degree a couple weeks ago, and his end of year show was amazing. I'm so proud of him, he's an amazingly talented artist and you guys should def keep your eyes open for him in the future. These are a couple pics from the show...

... you can see more of his work here.

This was in a different section of the uni, and i liked his ears...

You should also check out the art work of Tash Pollendine , who did this print. She is an up and coming tattoo artist who works in Cardiff and so far shes rocking!

So it's my turn to get tattooed in a little under 2 weeks. Getting my backpiece started by Matt Difa and im sooooooooo excited about it. With Sonisphere just after, so my July is going to be rad a f**ck!!

I will also be taking part in the Race For Life which is a fundraising event for Caner Research. Me and a friend took part last year. Its a great way for everyone to get involved and to raise money for an amazing charity. If you would like to sponser me to do the 5k run please click on the link below and give what you can, even if its real small amount. every little bit will help!!

And to finish...... i'm loving this song at the moment, think you will too after watching the video.

enjoy x
